Mental Health & COVID-19
Hey everyone! We know we’ve been inactive for a while but just wanted to give you guys some ideas on what you can do to maintain your mental health while your at home quarantining! We understand it is a really difficult time and it must be really hard for some of you to be inside all day, but always remember that you’re doing it for the vulnerable people who may not be able to fight off the disease so easily and for our health care practitioners who are working endlessly to ensure everyone stays safe (be kind to them please, they’re all trying their best ❤️)
Here are some additional things you can try out while bored at home:
- If you’re looking for some arts/crafts, there are several things you can order from amazon right now (puzzles, paint by numbers, board games, etc.)
- If you go to UW, Waterloo Warriors have a bunch of workouts online that you can try out at home (link: https://athletics.uwaterloo.ca/…/Online_Warrior_Workouts.as…) Check out your university’s athletic page to see if they’re doing the same!
- Learn a new skill with Harvard who’s offering some free courses, https://www.pluralsight.com (offering 1 month free), or https://www.skillshare.com/?via=header
- If you have an Apple Device, iBooks has several books for free!
Share with us in the comments down below what you’ve been up to these past few weeks, and any of your ideas!!
Continue to stay at home and stay safe everyone!! ❤️
